Easton Motors of Adams: Discovering the Center of It All

by Easton Motors

Easton Motors of Adams is the first of our five used car dealerships opened by Easton Motors founder and president, Lawrence Meade. Lawrence began serving drivers in the Adams, Wisconsin region in 1990 out of a previous dealership home in Easton, Wisconsin; customers still come in nearly 30 years later to share how they remember when we were a small office by the road and only a handful of cars.

We’ve come a long way since our humble beginnings, and now boast five locations throughout the state with a revolving inventory of over 200 late-model, low-mileage SUVs, trucks, cars, and vans. We hope our growth is something that all of our customers take pride in, and see that they helped make us into who we are today.

We’re excited to share a bit about our Adams dealership, and hope the information below is useful to those of you looking for a local car dealer who will help you find a vehicle you can be proud to own—and get you the financing you need when others have said “No way.”

What Cities We Serve, and How To Get To Us

We are located approximately 10 miles south of Adams on Hwy 13, and five miles south of the intersection of Hwy 13 & 82 in the township of Easton (which is how we got our name). The cities we serve here at the Adams location include (but are definitely not limited to), Adams-Friendship, Wisconsin Dells, Mauston, New Lisbon, Wisconsin Rapids, Plover, Stevens Point, and surrounding areas. If you are not sure if the Adams location is closest to you feel free to give us a call and we would be more than happy to help see which one is!

What To Expect At Our Location

As with our sister used car dealerships, at Easton Motors of Adams, we’re incredibly friendly and interested in what brought you through our doors. We don’t look at our guests as “just another sale”—we see our guests as a friend and future Easton Motors family member. We care about all of our guests not only during the application process but afterwards as well, which is why we not only include a great warranty and care package with all of our vehicles, but we follow up with you after your purchase and throughout the life of your car to make sure that it’s still working great for you and your needs. When it’s time to upgrade or get a better interest rate, we’ll reach out to you to let you know what your options are, and to congratulate you on your wise financial habits.

We understand that buying a vehicle can be a stressful time, especially if you have bad credit and fear of being turned away—as other, less forgiving dealerships may already have. But at Easton Motors we will work with you to find that right program that fits your credit situation no matter what it may be, even if that includes repo’s, bankruptcies, foreclosures, well…just about any financial situation, now that we think about it. You name it, and we’ve probably helped finance someone despite of it.

Getting Prepared To Buy a Car--Tips and Suggestions

If you’ve been looking for a dealership that will take into consideration your entire financial situation, we encourage you to come into the shop and see if we can help. While walk-ins are never turned away, we prefer our guests to set up an appointment so we can be fully prepared to jump right into your file and see what’s going on. Setting an appointment also gives us an opportunity to remind you what sorts of things to bring to your appointment, like personal recommendations, work documentation, and other identifiers. In fact, if you’re considering coming in to chat with us, here’s a cheat sheet of things to be prepared to bring with you:

  • Proof of all household income (2 most recent paystubs, recent bank statement, or award letter)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Minimum of 8 personal references (names, addresses, and phone numbers—they can be family, friends, or co-workers, they just can’t live with you or each other.) We understand that over the years relatives get married or just want a change of scenery and decide to explore other regions of the country,  so if you have someone that lives out of state it’s fine by us to put them down!
  • Title to Trade (if applicable) If you are trading in a vehicle and cannot seem to find the title that’s okay, just ask us about our Missing Title Paperwork and what you’ll need to bring with you to complete those documents!
  • Proof of residency (current lease, recent utility bill)
  • Proof of homeownership (if applicable)

We look forward to working with you to earn your trust and your business, and we can’t wait to welcome you into our family. Thanks for reading up on Easton Motors of Adams, and please enjoy browsing our company website, where you’ll find all our current used car inventory, and additional financing information.
